Everyone that has a website talks about best SEO practices. Some best SEO practices include using the right key words in your headline and inside any posts or articles you write.
You can conduct a trending keyword search at Google Trends Search . Save the Google Trends page for future use. It will help you gather ideas about what to write about or post on your website.
Also, don't forget to submit your website and sitemap in xml format, in addition to any new webpages to Google by using Google Console Tools.
Other best SEO practices include making sure your website is optimized, adding meta tags to any photos, and verifying that your webpages contain correct meta tags.
Adding correct and descriptive meta tags into the root of your website will also help with indexing. One general Meta Tag that can help get a website indexed is

This directive tells search engines to index a page and follow all links on it.
But not everyone knows about the correct robot txt tags to upload into the root of your website to increase page indexing, Google webpage search results and website views.
What is robot txt?
"A robots.txt file is a set of instructions for bots. This file is included in the source files of most websites. Robots.txt files are mostly intended for managing the activities of good bots like web crawlers, since bad bots aren't likely to follow the instructions", according to cloudflare.com
One robot txt code that is important if want more pageviews, is to allow Google bots to scan your website and index into Google, so your website can appear on Google and search engine results page (SERP)
Here is a robot txt to input into the root or domain of your website to help your website appear on engine results pages:
Feel free to copy and paste this code into your website to see better search engine results. Below the User-Agent* field , you can enter your website name in xml format, this tells search bots to search and eventually index your website for it to appear on Google Search Results.
If you use Blog Spot Google Blogger, unfortunately you do not have access to your root domain, but you can enter this code by going into your settings in your blog account. Scroll down to robot txt, and enter the code into the field.

Hopefully this code helps your website get more traffic and appear in Google.
