Focused on human smuggling, extortion, and drug trafficking, Tren de Aragua poses a significant threat to public safety, particularly for vulnerable migrant populations.
In recent developments, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has taken decisive actions against the gang, elevating the legal and enforcement response to address its growing influence.
"Police say Tren de Aragua is the Venezuelan gang that is living in the shelter system and recruiting children.
"We have 39 members of Tren że Aragua that have been identified and we have an additional four members that have been identified of a subgroup called Little Devils of 42nd Street. Those are much younger kids,"
And those are just the members police have been able to identify", as stated by CBSnews.com.
